FS2002 Helicopters
Designed using Gmax, a free "lite" version of 3D Studio Max designed for game and game add-on developers, these helicopters have been designed for flight in Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2002 software.
VH-PVF
The first in this series is the original 1979 Dauphin helicopter that flew for the Victoria Police until early 2002. The Dauphin was registered VH-PVF.

This model features the following:
- Animated main and tail rotor fenestron blades
- Virtual cockpit with animated flight controls
- Working virtual cockpit instrument gauges
- Transparent windows, pilots, cockpit textures
- Opening mid- and rear-doors
- Dauphin sound recordings
- Strobe and navigition lights
- Tail rotor-linked FLIR ball
- Shocked suspension wheels
- Highly tuned flight handling characteristics
- Optimised polygon model for high framerates
- Original C1 Dauphin 2 sound recordings
You can find the ZIP file of this add-on aircraft here.
VH-PVA
The second helicopter is VH-PVA. PVA was the primary air ambulance Dauphin until recently. It remains with the Air Wing as a backup ambulance.

This model features all the features of VH-PVF above, plus these:
- "Recurved" fuselage, looks much better all around
- Extended pointy nose to house weather radar
- Re-angled wheel spats, pointing slightly down like on real PVA
- Thicker fenestron shroud
You can download the ZIP file of this add-on aircraft here.
